Bush InfoTech Group, formerly known as KFA, Inc, is an information technology consulting firm specializing in solutions for web-based project management, document management, and workflow automation. In 2020, the US Department of Commerce awarded BIG with the “Minority Innovative Technology Firm of the Year” award.
BIG has donated to and assisted local businesses and organizations through volunteerism, speaking engagements, advisory committees, and pro-bono services to support firms and community assist agencies, especially during COVID-19. BIG supported two immigrants that are now full-time employees with full benefits. BIG also works with the Career Development Center at Chicago State University (CSU) by hiring students for BIG’s “Intern-to-Hire” program. Upon graduation from CSU, BIG offers the student a full-time W2 position at BIG with benefits. BIG is known for bringing the Chicago technology community together to network and create synergies.

2020

The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), has selected KFA to receive the Minority Innovative Technology Firm of the Year Award. The Award is presented to a minority-owned firm that has achieved outstanding success in promoting the use of technology in new and innovative ways, leading to greater efficiency and higher productivity.
MBDA will honor the Awardees during the 2020 National Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week being held September 14-19, 2020. The conference will be held virtually and each award winner will be featured in a “How I Did It” interview series.

2019

Each year, the Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee (MBEIC) Sharing Success Award recognize outstanding individuals and corporations who, through procurement and advocacy, have kept supplier diversity at the forefront of America’s business scene. This is also an opportunity to salute the success of minority business enterprises (MBEs) who have defied the odds and built firms that contribute to the national economy thorough job creation and community development.

2019

Kristine Fallon Associates, Inc. (KFA, Inc.) has been selected as a winner of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) 2019 Class 2 Regional Supplier of the Year Award. As the Regional winner, you are a finalist for the National Supplier of the Year Award.
The NMSDC Supplier of the Year award is a very high honor. There are nearly 12,000 NMSDC-certified minority businesses across the country that are eligible to be nominated. This award is given annually to minority suppliers who have distinguished themselves and their businesses.

2018

KFA implemented e-Builder for the Illinois Tollway and currently supports e-Builder as a Prime Consultant at the Illinois Tollway. The Innovators in Construction award recognizes owner organizations that demonstrate excellence in using technology to efficiently drive substantial building projects, ultimately freeing up resources that can be reinvested in the community. e-Builder recognized the Tollway as a innovator in construction at the 2018 Elevate conference in Ft. Lauderdale.

2015

PennDOT Office of Public-Private Partnerships wins two P3 Gold Awards: “Best Transport Project” for the Rapid Bridge Replacement Program and “Government Agency of the Year” in the Second Annual P3 Awards in New York City. A centralized review process implemented by KFA for PennDOT, using e-Builder Enterprise™ project collaboration and management system, was credited with helping to minimize delay risks across individual districts.

2013

The Dun & Bradstreet Open Ratings Report awards KFA 95 out of 100 score in a confidential survey of client satisfaction. All of KFA’s scores were above 94, with the highest scores awarded in customer service, reliability, responsiveness, and personnel.

2009

The Federal Highway Administration cited the CTA Web-Based Project Management System, as implemented by KFA, as an innovation that should be adopted by state Departments of Transportation (Innovation in Vertical and Horizontal Construction: Lessons for the Transportation Industry, Publication No. FHWA-IF-05-025, Washington DC, FHWA 2005, p.10).

2007

ENR magazine credits the Illinois Tollway’s Proliance On Demand Web-Based Project Management System with substantially reducing turn-around time on crucial activities and considers it a contributing success factor for the Tollway’s Congestion Relief Capital Program.

2007

The ConstrucTech Vision Award bestowed upon the Illinois Tollway for the Proliance On Demand Web-based Project Management System. KFA was recognized with the Technology Enabler Award for the system implementation.

2005

The ConstrucTech Vision Award presented to KFA for the CTA Web-Based Project Management System implementation.

2003

The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation awarded CTA the 2003 Driehaus Public Innovator in E-Governance award for the ProjectNet Web-Based Project Management System implemented by KFA.

2002

The Illinois Road and Transportation Builders
Association (IRTBA)
presented the 2002 Technology Advancement Award
to KFA for the CTA Web-Based
